A glass imprisons a small portion of the landscape.The eastern and wild caracters reminiscent of the humid tropical forests and report to that idea of nature and freedom to which those concepts of right and familiar, and primitive anthropoid.
Longing for belonging to the natural world, wild, woodland. Nostalgia for green areas.
The small portion of the landscape in capsule reminiscent of natural history museums, the eighteenth-century taxonomy, and classification of something over time. Here, however, time stops. The glass case contains the intact landscape forever, in memory of nature. A bubble of oxygen in the middle of the cement, a shelter for dreaming, a little enchanted place where we can rejoin the innermost part of us.

Una campana di vetro imprigiona una piccola porzione di paesaggio. Gli accenni orientali e selvaggi ricordano le umide foreste tropicali e riportano a quell'idea di natura e  libertà a cui appartengono i concetti di giusto e familiare, antropomorfo e primitivo.
Nostalgia di appartenenza al mondo naturale, selvaggio, boschivo. Nostalgia di luoghi verdi. La piccola porzione di paesaggio in capsula ricorda i musei di scienze naturali, la tassonomia settecentesca, quindi la classificazione di qualcosa nel tempo. Qui però, si ferma il tempo. La campana di vetro contiene il paesaggio intatto per sempre, in memoria della natura. Una bolla di ossigeno in mezzo alla cementificazione, un riparo per sognare, un piccolo luogo incantato dove possiamo ricongiungerci alla parte più intima di noi.

"Opus" in Latin means work / works of art
In the art of mosaic, this word defines the mosaic work based on the arrangement and size of the tiles and the materials used.
Is a work of art that refers to the mosaic. The idea started looking at the walls of the mountains, by car. I thought about how I could be able to take a portion of that mountain and bring it home as it was.
I mean the concept of contemporary mosaic as a multitude of elements juxtaposed with each other, as a repetition, a form, a pattern.

"Opus" in latino significa lavoro/opera. Nell'arte del mosaico, questa parola definisce il mosaico in base alla disposizione e le dimensioni delle tessere e dei materiali utilizzati.
Un'opera che si riferisce al mosaico. L'idea è nata guardando le pareti delle montagne, andando in auto. Ho pensato a come sarebbe stato se avessi potuto prendere una porzione, una zolla, di quella montagna e portarla a casa così come era.
Intendo il concetto di mosaico contemporaneo come una moltitudine di elementi giustapposti tra loro, come una ripetizione, una modulo, un pattern.
